Hinatea Neher, B.S.

Hinatea is a dedicated intern currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling at Arizona State University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology. With a strong foundation in mental health and wellness, Hinatea brings compassionate, culturally informed care to children and adults on their healing journeys.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic approaches. She tailors each session to meet her clients’ unique needs and incorporates cultural sensitivity into every aspect of the counseling process.

Hinatea has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, and identity expression. She creates a warm, inclusive environment where you feel heard, valued, and respected. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating the complex intersections of culture and emotional wellness.

Hinatea understands the courage it can take to seek support, especially when doing so may go against norms or expectations. She is honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, self-empowerment, and personal growth.
