Brooke Sobkoviak, B.S.
Brooke is a counseling intern obtaining her Master’s in Counseling at Arizona State University. Brooke attended Illinois College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Sociology. Brooke has experience working in ABA therapy, where she provided in-home, client-centered therapy to children on the Autism spectrum. Brooke also has experience working with a diverse range of presenting concerns.
Brooke is passionate about creating and maintaining a safe and warm therapeutic relationship with her clients, rooted in trust, empathy, and curiosity. She recognizes the strength and courage it takes to be vulnerable and is committed to providing a space where clients can be their authentic selves. Brooke believes that therapy should be tailored to each client’s needs and strives to walk with you through your mental health journey. Her goal is to help clients navigate their existence in the world authentically, make meaning of their experiences, and feel empowered to tolerate life’s uncertainties.
Brooke has experience working with concerns surrounding anxiety, depression, interpersonal/relationship conflict, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal trauma, intergenerational trauma, and self-esteem. Brooke utilizes an existential and person-centered approach to therapy while incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Brooke provides services out of the Gilbert office, which is close to Queen Creek, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler.
