Rexx Huish, M.A.

Rexx received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2020. He has completed coursework for his Master of Arts in Counseling through Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona.

He has worked in the health industry for the past 5 years. He started off as a personal trainer and then became a wellness coach for the Wellness Center at BYU - Idaho. He later became the Assistant Director and Director of the Wellness Center so that he could deepen his understanding of the human body.

His passion for learning all that he can about the human body and how it functions has led him to pursue licensure as a mental health counselor. Along the way, he became a CrossFit Level I Trainer (CF-L1 Trainer), Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach (PN1-NC), and recently became a Certified Trauma Specialist in Nutrition and Integrated Care.

He also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as behavioral modification as strategies for change. Rexx has done extensive work with kids and adolescents for over a decade, and enjoys helping them learn how to obtain emotional regulation. He is determined to help others achieve their goals in therapy and help lift others’ burdens along the way.
