Lindsay Taylor, MSW, LMSW
Lindsay is a passionate and caring therapist who works with children 10+, adolescents and adults, with an emphasis on teens, struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, substance use, self-esteem, parent-child relationships, school issues, relationship issues, and those seeking self-improvement. Lindsay places an emphasis and importance on connecting with her clients. She believes that although the therapeutic relationship is professional, that does not mean it has to lack authenticity and connection.
Lindsay understands the struggles that life can bring, along with the challenges teens and families face. With this understanding, Lindsay approaches the therapeutic process through an empowered lens where hope and healing is always possible. She is passionate about helping you uncover your greatness, so you can become your best self. Lindsay’s approach is authentic and relatable, and her goal is to provide a supportive and safe space where you feel heard.
Lindsay is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and has many years of experience providing individual and group counseling to a variety of populations and ages. In addition to outpatient services, Lindsay is the Social Worker at Perry High School. She has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. Lindsay is also trained in several suicide prevention/intervention models and is a certified SafeTALK trainer, providing suicide prevention training to school district employees and the community. Lindsay understands that each person’s journey is unique and tailors each session to the individual’s needs, desires, and goals. She is grateful to be a part of your mental health journey and to provide a safe, comfortable, and hopeful space for you to heal and work towards positive change.
