Kaelynn Buchanan, B.S.

Kaelynn is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Social Work at Arizona State University. Kaelynn has a Bachelor of Science in Family Life with an emphasis in human development. She has worked with families and children of all ages and abilities in a variety of academic and therapeutic settings. Kaelynn is a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

Kaelynn believes therapy should treat the whole person. Her treatment style focuses on an individual's talents, strengths, and experiences that make up their unique whole. She strives to provide a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment to help clients find their strengths and guide them through life’s challenges.

Using skills-based therapy, Kaelynn strives to empower clients to take control of their own lives and work toward their own goals. Her therapy approach is integrative and individually catered to those she serves. She strives to uplift her clients in their progression toward a better quality of life.
