Julie Huffman, MSW, LCSW

Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in community mental health and private practice. She obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University.


With expertise in various therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, and mindfulness techniques, Julie helps individuals struggling with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

In working with clients, Julie strives to be direct, compassionate, and creative in her approach. She specializes in using a solution-focused and client-centered methodology to help clients achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives.

Believing in the power of creativity and self-expression in therapy, Julie often incorporates art-based interventions in her work with clients. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate their inner experiences, develop self-awareness, and create coping strategies for a more fulfilling life.

Julie believes in working collaboratively with her clients, building a strong and trusting relationship that allows for open communication and exploration of their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She takes the time to truly listen to her clients and understand their unique challenges and needs.
