Joanna Rogers, LMSW
Joanna is a compassionate therapist who specializes working with children, teens and their families. Joanna has worked as a school social worker and provided group and individual counseling to pre-teens and teens on issues of bullying, self-harm, depression and anxiety. She loves working with school age kids in helping them adjust to the challenges many kids face today. Joanna also has experience as an Early Childhood Family Therapist and has provided trauma-focused and parent-child relationship therapy. Joanna has specialized training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, play-based therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Joanna enjoys working with families to strengthen the parent-child relationship and to help parents feel more confident in parenting their children and to help children with their emotions and feel more confident in themselves. Joanna's genuine and kind personality helps children and their families feel comfortable and supportive throughout the therapeutic process.
