Haley is a compassionate counseling intern pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, where she is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. Haley holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Kentucky, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors.

At Evolve Counseling, Haley works with a diverse client base, providing both individual and group therapy under the supervision of licensed professionals. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and plans to incorporate a mindfulness-based approach into her work with clients. Haley is most passionate about working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She prioritizes maintaining a safe space for anyone seeking therapy.

Haley believes a person-centered and humanistic approach to counseling is most conducive to improvement, as this allows the client a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore their emotions. Her humanistic approach reinforces the idea that each person has free choice and free will, providing a space for the client to break away from negative assumptions about themselves and others.

Haley is skilled in active listening, maintaining unconditional positive regard, and building rapport with clients to strengthen the therapeutic alliance. Haley understands the unique dynamics and interplay between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. She is committed to helping her clients recognize these cycles, identify any underlying causes, and develop coping strategies to facilitate lasting positive change.
