Ethelyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the the state of Arizona and has 7 years of experience in mental health. Ethelyn has worked in both outpatient community mental health and inpatient psychiatric settings providing therapeutic support to children (6 +), adolescents, and adults. Ethelyn takes a trauma informed and person-centered approach to create a healing and safe environment to address difficulties with life challenges, transitions, self esteem issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional and behavioral dysregulation. 

 

Ethelyn has been trained in various treatment modalities including, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Sand Tray Play, Theraplay, StoryPlay, and Play Based Therapy Interventions. Ethelyn's approach is supportive and collaborative using a strength based perspective. Ethelyn can provide counseling services in both English and Spanish and enjoys working with clients who speak either language. Ethelyn strives on empowering clients through support, education, and skills to heal and enrich their lives.
